Authenticity??

I'm looking at purchasing this wallet.. Can anyone tell if it's authentic or not?

The seller advised that the datecode is: VI0210.

Thanks for the advice! :o)

Need a better picture of button, date code, zipper, and a macro picture of the stitches.

But the date code is... what the fuck. It tells that it was made in France in January 2020 OR 1920? That is totally wrong :S

We aren't in 2020 yet, and... Vernis was introduced in 1998...

Are you sure she/he didn't read the date code wrong?

I don't understand the colors either... The red vernis was discontinued long time ago, and the orange vernis colors also did.

To be honest, I wouldn't buy if I were u. But also, I could be wrong. Just ask the seller for more pics!

Hey sweetie!

The seller said it should be red but the colour didn't turn out right? :/

I'm a little weary tbh so I have asked for closeups of the purse!

Thank you soooo much for your advice! x

Yes, the color on the picture COULD have been wrong, a lot of vernis items are hard to take good pictures of.
BUT, as I said...the date code is sooooooo wrong. I would never bough it just because of that.

Ask the seller for a picture of the date code, maybe she/he could have read it wrong!

Good luck!

The leather seems a bit dull for a vernis. All the Vernis goods I've seen have the glossy patent leather look. This one looks just, well. Dull. And the signature pattern indentations look sort of too thin.
